What Exactly Do Lubricants Do?

Sometimes I think I tend to forget that some of us (ok most) don't have much of a clue about what lubricants are supposed to do for your ride. Many simply know you need to have oil in your car and to change it periodically. Well, here's a short article that explains what it is your oil is doing for you (or at least should be doing)
