Other Types Of Energy Savings

October 12th 2006 23:51
Since the inception of this blog we've kind of focussed on automotive ways to save fuel. However, the blog is entitled fuelsavingadvice.com, which to me implies much more than simply cars, trucks etc....Saving fuel, is a topic that should in fact address every living individual on this planet...perhaps even the cave dwelling type

Sometimes we tend to forget how much energy we blow on a daily basis just at home. What's the worst room in the house? Yeah that's an easy one. Some may think it's the bathroom, but really that's simply a water drip line. The real culprit energywise is the Kitchen. As the resident cook in this here household, I'm still taking tips from the masters cuz I just get into a focus/daze and forget about things. Maybe it's a male thing. I'm forever scrutinizing how my wife works behind the wheel yet don't do the same thing to myself in the kitchen. I'll have every possible energy sucking device going all at the same time even though I can only use one, perhaps two of them at the same time.

Energy is energy folks. One of the constants between driving and that kind of fuel with other types of fuel is...............PLANNING!

Although there are a ton of sites out there offering assistance in this arena, I've found a few that are relatively straight forward and for the average...ahh dude...(side note...I almost said bloke)...sheesh...Here's one I like

There are tons of ways to save fuel/energy. Try just ONE today. That's all I ask!

As always.............Godspeed & Good Luck!

The most amout of energy used on the planet is to cook bread! That is not something I invented but did read somewhere. that doesn't mean it's true but it does make sense.

and it's carbolicious....I think that does make sense if for no other reason the utensils used vs. the time it takes....Nothing like a good ol home baked bread now is there? LOL Thanks for the comment Tom!
