Gas Prices Falling???? Beware!!

September 25th 2006 14:46

Although gas prices have been falling over the past 5-6 weeks, nothing fundamental concerning supplies and/or demand has changed. That being the case, it's still more than likely that this roller coaster ride we've all been on will continue to run. Saving fuel and energy conservation should be practiced year round. This is how Big Oil has survived in the past. Huge upward spikes followed by a slow falling off (wherein the low never equals what it once was, but we think 2.40 per gallon looks better than 3.40 even if it's not the 2.00 we were accustomed to paying). As long as people continue to support Big Oil by blindly burning fuel/energy, big oil will continue to create millionaire's by the week and we will have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Today I'd like to discuss oil and fuel additives and those gas pills we've all been seeing. It's no shock that when gas prices start really flexing their muscles that all sorts of scam products find their way to market. The most popular amongst the recent marketing scams is the gas pill. There are a few different versions floating around out there today but for the most part ALL ARE SCAMS. Some of the companies have the same few scamsters at the top promoting first one product, then when the Feds take it down, they start another one. Bioperformance is one such company. There are tons more out there and a general rule of thumb to apply is really a golden rule surrounding most things...If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is....Trust your instincts as they are generally correct.

When it comes to Oil Additives, same thing goes. In fact, some of these products may CAUSE damage. Not only do they NOT WORK, but they may actually cause internal engine damage. This Article may scare you a little, but if you're using any of these products, you'd best read it.

Godspeed & Good luck!

"nothing fundamental concerning supplies and/or demand has changed"

I'm glad you pointed that out. Snapped me back to reality when I've been thinking "yay prices are going down"... without giving more thought to it!

They haven't been falling quick enough around here! Gas and oil is just one big game...sure they have cars that can run on other stuff and are hybids 1/2 electric but they are so grossly over priced who can afford it and in the long run it comes out the same amount...besides if they were reasonably priced then who would pay for gas and oil - life is just one big game and the consumers always lose
