The last couple of days have seen a dramatic drop in the price of crude oil. It's likely to be about done given some cuts in OPEW Production and a "dwindling supply," say analysts.

When prices finally fell below a dollar again, we're were so excited to have 'cheap' gas. No it wasn't really cheap at, was it? Just felt like it at the time.
Now, they're in the mid 80 cent/L range. Still much higher than pre-storm but at least not the $1.08 a liter it had been.
One story I remember from those days was of an Irish tourist who called into the local radio station when he heard us complaining about paying over one dollar per litre. He said to consider yourself lucky as in Ireland he was paying the equivalent of $2.60/L.
Cheers,
