Oil & Energy Continue To Haunt

October 26th 2007 00:03
Steven Mufson of the Washington Post captures the essence of the energy question as it relates to a very fragile American Economy. This article does a very nice job of discussing the level of importance Oil and Energy have garnered in the current economic landscape. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any reversals in this frightening trend anytime in our near future.

Oil Prices Approach Record Hight

October 12th 2007 13:58
Is it the height of the summer driving season? No. Is it that we're tapping into the cold winter reserves for home heating? No. Yet, Crap oil jumps more than 2 dollars a gallon (making hundreds more rich CEO's richer), based on a strike in Nigeria, an Alaskan oil field fire and a "surprising drop in crude inventories." How much more do these fat cats really think we're going to believe? Did someone steal the crude oil reserves overnight. Does anyone monitor these things more closely than us? C'mon. Tell it like it is. Somebody's rich daddy had to buy a new toy for their precious!

I only hope I live long enough to see these guys sent to prison and/or the poor house. When we completely and totally eschew all crap oil products and use alternative energy sources

12 Step Program (LINK)

August 24th 2007 15:43
I've talked openly about at least one of my vices in life, have admitted it, sought help and live with it daily. It's not pretty, fun or something of which I'm proud. It's life. However, therapy brings out subsurface issues and in a way serves to twist the knife a little deeper reminiscent of the Black Crowes tune Addiction. True to the song, the pain does bring a smile to my face. What is this evil thing? I'm blogtommy, and I'm a blogoholic.

Aside from some fleeting references to blogging and what it may or may not mean for your on or off line business, it struck me recently as I was in the 34th minute of my 50 minute hour that I hadn't really said why blogging was such a good thing. So today, with a little help from my friends, I thought I'd scratch that off the list

No Sign of Slowing

May 19th 2007 20:21
Many thought with Gas topping the 3.00 per gallon mark we'd start to see an ease in pricing. Not only has that not occurred, but analysts insist 4.00 per gallon is more and more reasonable. As long as supply and demand issues continue to favor the big oil companies and producers, it's the consumer paying the ultimate price. Well perhaps not the ultimate price as our environment isn't faring to well as a result of this oil gluttony either. Most agree that solid alternative resources for the majority of us is years away. What can we do now? Conserve and be smart. Walk and/or use alternative transportation when possible. Every little thing you can do to improve our reliance on foreign oil is important.

Since 1972, AMSOIL Synthetics have proven to be the BEST. AMSOIL also engineers and manufactures Ea Oil Filters with Nanofiber Technology which have a 25,000 mile/1-year service life as well as specialized filtration systems for commercial and fleet applications in cars and light, medium and heavy trucks which can filter particles down to less than one micron (a standard full flow oil filter can only filter to 20-25 microns, and at a reduced efficiency) making oil changes virtually unnecessary and virtually eliminating engine wear. These filters have been proven by millions of miles of over-the road trucks, construction equipment and fleet service.
